Capture a dream
Tap Capture a dream. Write what you remember or use the record button. The record button is hidden while the keyboard is open; tap Done to bring it back. Save the entry, then open it to edit or listen again.
Titles and typo suggestions
Entries use the day they were recorded until an automatic title is available. After saving changed text, Dreamnotes may offer a typo correction. Compare Suggested and Original, then choose Apply changes or Keep original. Closing the preview also keeps your original text.
Recording or transcription isn’t working
Check microphone and speech permissions in your device’s Settings. Transcription requires speech recognition support for your device and language. If it fails, the audio stays in your entry. You can keep the recording or add text yourself.
Dreams haven’t appeared on another device
Make sure both devices use the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled and available storage. Connect to the internet and open Dreamnotes on both devices. Sync can take time; keep your local entries while resolving a problem.
AI features are unavailable
Automatic titles, typo suggestions, tags, interpretations, and recaps require an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with Apple Intelligence enabled and its model downloaded. Availability also depends on language and region. Check Apple Intelligence & Siri in Settings. Writing and recording remain available.
Subscriptions
Plus includes search, automatic tags, dream interpretations, and recaps. Both plans have the same features. Prices are US $1.99 per month or $9.99 per year; local prices appear before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for purchase. Use Manage subscription or Apple Account subscription settings to change or cancel a plan. Canceling Plus does not delete your journal.

Dream interpretations are AI-assisted. Dreams are subjective and do not reflect reality. Do not use interpretations to make decisions.
